R I Mensa Events

Hearts, anyone? If there are any M's who like to play HEARTS (and/or other card games), please contact Arlene. A member who lives in W. Warwick would like to host.

Last month's dine-out. Joan's name was drawn for the door prize at our Chinese Buffet dine-out on March 12th. She received a congratulatory card saying the prize was a free dinner that evening. Attendees (whom we see fairly often) included Virginia and Nick, Carol, Tony, Joan, Nancy and Ric, Tom and Joanna, Carol and Vic and Margie.

We always are delighted to see some new faces, and were happy to meet Michelle, Karen and Ray, and Sandy. A special guest was Nancy's friend Lisa, a graduate student at Brown U, who is working on her Doctorate in the bio-medical field. Quite a few M's told me they would like to attend but had a variety of scheduling conflicts. We hope to see them soon at another event. A special treat was the display of two huge Mensa photograph albums with pictures of events from 1985-1993. Special thanks to Peter who helped make this event so much fun.
